When faith is all you have…hold on! (11/24/18)*

Faith:  complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

Some days, that’s all we have to run on.

Complete and udder “faith” that things will work out.

And that’s ok.  Sometimes we need to let go and The Universe work things out.

Whether you believe in God, Budha or The Universe,

having something bigger than yourself to believe in, helps tremendously!

Don’t ever give up hope,

because you just never know when the tides will turn!

Sometimes there are things that happen in our lives that are just too big for us to handle on our own.  Or, sometimes it a culmination of many small things all coming together at the same time…and we just cannot handle it.

I saw this, and thought, how perfect.

That really is how it works out,

only when we are in the thick of things, we can’t see it.

That really just says it all! #keepthefaith

Topher got that right!  Life really is like that.

Bent branches and snapped twigs, not perfect.

And on those days when we can’t see how things will ever get better,

or if we will ever recover, on those days especially,

is when we have to keep the faith!

A few years ago, I went through an extremely difficult time in my life.

Not just one or two things going wrong, more like five or six things.

And they were not little things either.  They were like BIG things.

And I remember thinking as I was going through all of that,

how is this ever going to get better, and how am I going to survive it?

(HINT:  needless to say, I survived.  I came out stronger, wiser and quite the bad-ass!).

That’s what happens when you survive the storm, the bigger the storm, the bigger the lesson!

Everyone has their own journey in this thing caledl life.

No point in trying to copy anyone else,

otherwise you are just setting yourself up for failure.

You, and you alone have to figure it out,

have faith, and keep moving forward.

“The greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow.”

I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older and been through so many “storms”,

I don’t get scared and worried like I used to do.

(That’s what happens when you’ve been through those BIG storms,

they make you stronger).  Now, I take it one step at a time,

calculating each and every move I make.

And I’ve come to realize, some storms really do come to clear my path!

There you have it!

Like the saying goes; “Bad times don’t stay forever.  Neither do good ones.”  So enjoy every bit of every day.

Talk soon,
