I know I am not alone when I say this, but the dating world has actually gotten worse!
If that’s even humanly possible?
I mean, you would think, how hard can it be to find someone you like?
These days, pretty hard.
Some days I feel like giving up.
But then I remember, I DON’T GIVE UP😉.
I recently wrote a blog on relationships and, quite frankly, received quite a lot of feedback from people.
Both good and bad.
But the best comments were from people who have been married like forever!
Many of them saying, ‘it can’t be that bad”!
Oh yes it can.
Let’s see, let me share some of more memorable dates…
The guy who stalked me before we even had our official first date.
The guy who literally talked for an hour straight on our first date.
The guy I met for lunch who had told me he was divorced, only to tell me he wasn’t when I actually met him.
He said he thought after I met him I wouldn’t mind.
He was wrong 🙂
Oh, and the guy I met at Applebee’s who looked nothing like his picture (must have been from ten years ago). And the really funny part about this particular date was, about an hour or so before we were meeting, he sent me a text saying, ‘no hard feelings if we don’t hit it off.”
To which I responded, “no problem.”
So there we are in the reception area of Applebee’s and as he’s talking, in my head I’m surveying the situation, saying do I go in and have a drink with him to be nice, OR, do I just leave?
I mean, he did say, if we don’t hit it off…
So I left.
He wasn’t very happy.
He told me it was the rudest thing anyone had every done to him.
I highly doubt that!
And then there was the guy who told me he was a vampire.
Yes. A vampire.
That’s way too long a story.
Plus, if that guy ever saw I wrote about him he probably wouldn’t be too happy with me.
and, like, I still want to date 😉
That’s just a sampling of some of my stories. I have many more😉
Not for the faint of heart.
You have to be a soldier of love, I swear 😉
And we wonder why all the single people aren’t happy these days.
Enjoy today’s gallery:
Whether you are looking for your Prince/Princess, sometimes you just need to take a break from all the dating apps and just work on you.
Take you to lunch.
Take you to the spa.
Take you shopping.
Take care of you💙
That’s the reality of relationships.
Only it seems these days, people just don’t either want to put in the time, OR the commitment to do so!
Or, and this is a big one, some people are always looking for someone better! Or so they think.
Sometimes people walk into your life.
Sometimes people walk out of your life.
As long as they don’t snore😉
I’m always amazed when I talk to people in the dating world and they have these laundry lists of “do’s and don’ts” of their “perfect” match.https://www.ninefrogs.com/happiness-wheres-mine-6-1-19/
And then they wonder why they can’t find a date.
Toss your list and be open to who comes into your life.
You might be surprised.
No need to make a fuss, just walk away.
That’s for the people who dropped out of the dating game because they say they just can’t take it anymore.
While I agree it’s pretty bad (and that’s being kind), if you want to meet someone, you need to stay in the game💖💖💖https://www.ninefrogs.com/my-deep-desire-to-inspire-7-7-19/
That’s like sitting on your couch looking at your vision board, waiting for your perfect somebody to come knocking on your door.
Probably not going to happen.
I so believe that <3
Don’t get so caught up in your next relationship that you forget about you.
That’s a wrap on my love connection blog for today.
And if you know someone who needs to read this, please share.
Patricia <3 always
