Ten days and counting till Halloween.👻👻👻
I know so many people who absolutely LOVE Halloween🎃🎃🎃
I’m not one of them. 😕😕😕
When I was a kid, yes. Today, no ;-(
So, if you’re having a Halloween party you don’t need to invite me 😉
Now, Halloween makeup, I am all over that🤡🤡🤡

I do love a good story though, so today I’m sharing some “short” scary stories👻👻👻
Two terrifying stories children told their babysitters while their parents were out:
A few years ago, I was putting my friend’s daughter to bed for the night. She was about three at the time, and she was fighting going to sleep. She asked me why she had to go to bed, and I said ‘because it is late and it’s time for little girls to get a good night’s rest.’ She then pointed at nothing across the room and said, “what about that little girl?”😲😲😲
Two years ago, I was looking through my elementary school yearbook with my five year old cousin, when we were at a page with a 2nd grade class. She pointed to a boy’s photo and said, ‘That looks just like Nicolas!” When I asked who Nicolas was, she just said “The boy in my closet” and kept on looking through the pictures. I almost died.😳😳😳
My friend Ilian posted this on Instagram the other day and I just loved it <3
What a wonderful world it would be if everyone felt comfortable to be their unique selves❤❤❤
In celebration of Halloween, I’m sharing some of my best Halloween stories☠☠☠
“A young girl hears her mother call her name from downstairs, so she gets up and starts to head down.
As she gets to the top of the stairs, her mother pulls her back and whispers, ‘don’t go down there, I heard it too.'” 😮😮😮
“As I was walking on a very dark street, I saw a man staring at me. I was afraid but kept on walking. The man passes me by and didn’t say a word.
The next day, I was walking on the same street and I see the man again. This time, he walks up to me and asks, ‘Hey, where’s that old lady that was walking with you yesterday?'” 😑😑😑
“Emily’s mother had always chastised her for being afraid of her own shadow. This time Emily stood, stiffened by fear with her hands in her pockets, trembling. ‘But mommy, it keeps waving back at me.'” 🙄🙄🙄
“I believe in Pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day. I believe in miracles.” / Audrey Hepburn
“Style is a deeply personal expression of who you are, and every time you dress, you are asserting a part of yourself.” / Nina Garcia
“The last thing I saw was my alarm clock flashing 12:07 before she pushed her long rotting nails through my chest, her other hand muffling my screams. I sat bolt upright, relieved it was only a dream. But, as I saw my alarm clock read 12:06, I heard my closet door creak open.”🤦♀️🤦♂️🤦♀️
“There’s nothing like the laughter of a baby. Unless it’s 1:00am and you’re home alone.” 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Here is a podcast I did last year, just stumbled upon the link.👇👇👇
I’m actually going to be interviewed for another podcast in the next month or two, and I’ll share that once I get the link!
“I always though my cat had a staring problem – she always seemed fixated on my face. Until one day, when I realized that she was always looking just behind me.” 😻😻😻
In a world full of fake people, stay true to who you are.😍😍😍
For that is where your true power is, the fact that there is only one you☝☝☝
“I awoke to the sound of the baby monitor crackling with a voice comforting my first born child. As I adjusted to a new position, my arm brushed against my wife. Sleeping next to me?” 👽👽👽
“My daughter is scared of thunderstorms, so when I felt a tug at the bed cover I told her to climb into bed with me. Something felt wrong when I heard her come into the room a few minutes later and asked, ‘Mommy, why is my doll in your bed.'”🤡🤡🤡
“At the age of twelve, you started randomly seeing a green line and a red line appear on the ground. You always followed the green line and have lived a successful and happy life. Ten years later you are on top of the world, but bored. Time to see where the red lines leads.”🎈🎈🎈
So I lost my phone…
“Last night a friend rushed me out of the house to catch the opening act at a local bar’s music night. After a few drinks, I realized my phone wasn’t in my pocket. I checked the table we were sitting at, the bar, the bathrooms and after no luck, I used my friend’s phone to call mine.
After two rings someone answered, gave out a low raspy giggle and then hung up. They didn’t answer again. I eventually gave it up as a lost cause and headed home.
I found my phone laying on my nightstand, right where I left it.”🎃🎃🎃
“There was a picture on my phone of me sleeping.
I live alone.”👻👻👻
“Don’t cry for me, I’m not gone. My soul is at rest, my heart lives on. Light a candle for me to see, and hold on to my memory; but save your tears for I’m still here, by your side through the years.” / Christy Ann Martine
NUGGET OF GOODNESS;
“Are you waiting to be skinnier, thinner, more toned, more tanned, better dressed, sexier, move lovable, nicer, smarter, funnier, or wealthier before you really begin your life?
Millions of us are. And it is a complete waste of time. Body obsession and the quest for perfection are destroying our lives, and we are willing participants in this destruction.”
Jessica Weiner, in Do I Look Fat In This?
“It’s safe to come out now, sweetie” dad said reassuringly, his blue eyes shining at me through the gap in the bedroom door.
He’s been saying that for hours, but it doesn’t change the fact that my dad’s eyes are green!!!🎭🎭🎭
That’s a wrap🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
Patricia <3 always
