How can I achieve greatness? (5/7/19)

How do YOU define greatness?

  1. the quality of being great, distinguished, or eminent.

This seems to be a subject many people struggle with.

I have people asking me quite often, how do I get the confidence I need to do the things I want to do, but I can’t seem to do them?

The first thing you need to do, is make yourself a daily priority!

Far too many people put themselves LAST on their list, when they should be first!

Then, start with surrounding yourself with positive, forward-thinking people.

People who are going to encourage you, and lift you higher.

When you surround yourself with the right people, you support and encourage one another to reach for your dreams.✔✔✔

Eliminate any and all toxic people from your life.

You need people who will support you and help build you up.

That’s how you get on the road to achieving your greatness.

And remember, it all starts with you.

No one else can do it for you🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

There is a difference between greatness and cockiness.

Know the difference.😇😇😇

Surround yourself with people on the same mission as you.

It is vital to your growth to have these kind of people in your life.

I have a networking group I meet every Friday. It is extremely helpful to have a group of people that I can communicate with, and who understand some of the things I’m going through.

Since they are business owners and entrepreneurs as well, they can feel my pain so to speak 😉

You need these people in your life🥰🥰🥰

Believe you can and you you’re half-way there!

As in exercise. The gym. Walking. Jogging. Belly-dancing. You name it!

Just get out and move your body, at least five times a week.

It’s a known fact, when you feel good, you look good.

And when you’re feeling your best, you start doing your best.

Start doing all those things you once dreamed of doing, only now, you DO them!

And when you feel good about yourself, miracles start to happen!

Kermit the Frog🐸🐸🐸

I’m no expert, but as we all know, moving our bodies is vital for both our heart and soul.

When you exercise you release all those endorphins in your brain, and those damn things make you feel great.

So, win/win!

It’s all in the way you think!

That’s why they always say, THINK POSITIVE, no matter the circumstance.

Change your way of thinking to a positive mindset.

A mindset that says, I WIN. No matter what I have to do!!!

That way, your brain starts thinking of ways for you to actually, WIN💪💪💪

Networking is a great place to meet new and exciting people. People of influence.

Especially if you do it the right way.

Forming relationships. Maintaining good communication.

Following up and meeting people for a cup of coffee.

I can’t tell you how many people I have met for a cup of coffee over the years. I’ve been to the Dix Hills Diner more times than I can count☕☕☕

When done the right way, networking can be a wonderful experience and open you up to a whole new world.

I have been networking for years and have made some awesome friends along the way!

When I first started my business back in 2012, I started networking (which I had never done before when I was in the corporate world).

For me, I had to get used to saying “I am an Image Consultant and Personal Shopper” when people asked me what I did.

It felt weird saying it. Like I was pretending.😑😑😑

But you know what?

After saying it ten times or so, it started seeping in. 😉😉😉

After a while of networking, I became known as “that Frog lady” or, “that Personal Shopper lady.”

(Hey, as long as they remember you)☺☺☺

Networking really is a great way to meet people.

So, if you’ve never gone to one, find one this week and GO!

This is a subject near and dear to my heart as many of you know!

There is a quote by Tom Ford – “Dressing well is a form of good manners!”

You are never going to gain a high level of self-confidence and achieve greatness if you are walking around looking like shiz!

Don’t do this!!! EVER!!!

Dress Sharp!

That’s doesn’t mean you need to walk around in a 3-piece suit or, a dress and heels.

It means when you walk out your front door you are showing the world your best “you!” 😁😁😁

That can be done in jeans and a t-shirt if you do it right!

And also…

And don’t forget the little things, like grooming.

Keep you hair nice, if you need a haircut, get one.

Nails, on point always.

Skincare, for both women, and men.

Everyone wants nice skin! Moisturizer should be your best friend.

And last but not least, SMILE 😉

It is a scientific fact that the sheer act of smiling helps you feel better and helps gain self-confidence!

And I’ve yet to meet anyone who is self-confident and on the road to achieving greatness who wasn’t smiling and emitting positive vibes❤❤❤

Yet another win/win!
