Finding your Happiness! (6/1/19)

Why write a blog on Finding your Happiness πŸ˜‰

Because apparently a lot of you out there can’t find yours😁😁😁

I hear this so often.

Just yesterday I was reading an article on LinkedIn on this very subject!

Most people are looking for happiness in all the wrong places.

Here’s my advice:

STOP WAITING FOR HAPPINESS to show up at your front doo!

Seriously, and while you’re at it, stop waiting for everything to be perfect to be happy.

Because it’s never going to happen.

Kermit the Frog🐸🐸🐸

You deserve to be happy now.

And it all starts with you!

This isn’t a dress rehearsal, this is your life!

Your one-time shot at this thing called lifeπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

And YOU deserve to be living it happy!😁😁😁

Like, really happy πŸ˜‰

No person, thing OR event, is going to make you happy!

Iif you aren’t happy already, stop looking outside yourself.🌷🌷🌷

You make YOU happy.😊😊😊

It is a total inside job.

Yes, YOU!

Here’s where so many people get it wrong.

Other people can ADD to your happiness.  πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

But, if you are looking for someone else to make you happy, you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.

And as far as all the other β€œthings” that people think will make them happy, you should give up on that dream as well.

Because the minute you start waiting for YOUR happiness based on any external thing, you’re already doomed.

Like when I hear people say things like;

I’ll be happy when:

I lose weight.”

(OMG, that’s a huge one).

How about you be happy with the body you now have, AND then you lose weight?

If you are starting off HATING your body, you will have little success in losing weight.

Huge difference.

The list then goes on like this;

A new job,

That new boyfriend/girlfriend,

I want a house!

Where’s my new car?

The list goes on and on…

My favorite:

When I have a no problems.

And so on and so on….

Again, β€œthings and people” can add to your happiness, but they can’t make you happy!

I’ve experienced this first hand.

My ex-husband was the worst.

Always putting off his happiness!

Waiting for some Magical Unicorn Rainbow to happen, and then he’d be happy.πŸ¦„πŸ¦„πŸ¦„

Needless to say, that never happened!πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I firmly believe that’s why there as so many unhappy people in this world today.

So many people are looking for happiness in all the wrong places. they need to start with themselves first.

Make yourself happy, and then see what happens!

People ask me often, what makes me happy (and where does that pretty smile come from?)…?

My answer, and I’m dead serious.

Doing the things I want.

And surrounding myself with the people I want to be with.

My life is far from perfect.

I just decide every morning to be happyπŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Am I happy? YES!

And I know someone out there will say, ‘well Patti, we all can’t be happy everyday.

But you can be most days.

You should stop waiting for the Unicorn of Happiness to come knocking on your doorπŸ¦„πŸ¦„πŸ¦„

And become your own Unicorn of Happiness and see how your life changes for the better😁😁😁

I actually think Kermit the Frog said that☝☝☝

And most of all, stop putting the keys to your happiness in someone else’s pockets.

That was another lesson I had to learn the hard way.

It is YOUR happiness, and no one else’s.

I am so rooting for youπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

Talk soon,

Patricia <3 always
