Today I’m sharing some of my favorite quotes/thoughts/advice on getting and keeping confidence.
Everyone wants it. Unfortunately, not many know how to get it.
Confidence is a habit that can be developed by acting as if you already have it.
Developing confidence doesn’t happen overnight, rather a series of acts taken over and over. You literally have to push yourself to do things that make you uncomfortable. Key to confidence!
Plus, the practice of self-care.
Appearance is everything. Feeling good about yourself on the outside will help you feel good on the inside.
So I have probably said the above statement over a hundred times in my blogs over the years. You simply cannot gain confidence when you look like shit!
It’s that simple.
A big smile and a firm handshake will tell people you are confident and comfortable with yourself.
Something else I always encourage people to do, SMILE 😉
It does wonders for the body and soul!

Self-Confidence is the key to happiness!
I talk with and hear from, so many people who are so unhappy. Both with themselves and their lives. Yet, when I give them some advice on how to change that, they invariably tell me WHY they cannot.
And it usually starts with, “Patti I can’t because….fill in the blank.”
So I say, if you really want to change your life, be happy, have confidence, and live the life of your dreams. You will need to do what you have never done.

When I started my business seven years ago (I know I’ve said this before), I had no idea what I was doing, other than, I knew what I wanted to do. It takes a lot of courage AND confidence to do something you have no idea what you’re doing, to jump off the cliff with no parachute to catch you.
Quite honestly, it takes major balls.
To come out of your comfort zone, and try something so out-of-the-box, it scares the hell out of you!
It also makes you feel more alive than you have ever felt, and I highly recommend you do something to give you that feeling.
Gaining amazing self-confidence doesn’t happen over-night like I said. You take daily small steps, and you push yourself a little further as you go.
That’s totally how I feel these days. And I didn’t always feel that way.
And when YOU have amazing self-confidence, that’s how you’ll feel too!
